On any path, it is important to know where you are at and what the stepping stones are, so that you have goals to work towards.

Our belt system provides you, your teachers and your fellow students with a clear idea of what knowledge and skills you have mastered, what level of advancement can reasonably be expected of you, and what areas you are currently studying. Through this system, younger students can easily find those who can answer their questions, and older students will be able to understand the level others are working on, and address them accordingly.

How belt levels work

After your first class in the introductory course, you can be tested for a White Belt in chat. This signifies that you are officially a student at Elfpath, are keeping a journal, taking parts in classes, and ready and willing to learn the basics. As you progress in your studies, you may apply to test for higher level belts. These belts reflect your knowledge of the material taught in our classes, your understanding of the concepts and methods, and your skill in applying them. You do not gain belt levels by completing a course or by simply being around for a long time: they are a sign of what you understand what you can do, not of your ability to sit, listen and memorize. You may apply to test for a belt at the very earliest after a certain number of classes, so that you have covered the material required for the relevant belt level, and then only with your main teacher's permission.

Gaining a belt level is a noteworthy achievement. We do not make our tests easy, and we do not advance you to the next level unless we are sure that you are really there and are ready to go on. In all of this, as with everything else, you can go completely at your own speed. If you show that you can handle it and really want it, you can go faster than the program outlines, and if you are busy, or want to take it slow, that is perfectly alright as well. There is no need to achieve a Belt after finishing b course - although by the time you get to d course, you will likely need the skills of at least an a Belt to keep up.

Belt tests

To gain a belt level, a high level teacher will sit down with you in an audio conversation and test you. During this test, we will ask you to show us your knowledge and the skills you have learned. For this we use questions, and we ask you to demonstrate your intuitive abilities. The teacher will track what you are doing, and judge if you have mastered the skill sufficiently. If your mastery of both the knowledge and the skills are adequate, you will pass the test, and your forum belt sign will be updated.

Overview of belt levels and requirements

At each belt level, you must be able to demonstrate all lower belt requirements.

Some requirements are intentionally not listed, as we are not a regular school and do not encourage you to try and "get the answers right".

Beginner levels

White belt: White belt shows that you have started the two-month introductory course. This means you have made a commitment to follow the classes and do the exercises given to you during that period. You have shown you are doing SWEET and have started a journal, and have demonstrated a mature and open minded attitude.

---When: After the first class.

Yellow belt: You have shown that you can treat yourself and others with respect, do your exercises with discipline and are maintaining your journal. You have a basic understanding of working with your own energy and are beginning to use your intuition to address your problems. You have found at least one of your deeper fears and worked with one of our teachers on it. You understand the relationship between anger and fear, and have a good grasp on the four control dramas.

---When: After one month.

Orange belt: You are developing a clear image of the you you really want to be and are making independent efforts to become that. You can intuitively SCAN, and apply that both to your own situation and to others who may need your help - and you will offer this help to them. You recognize when you need help and know to ask for it. You are beginning to develop your intuitive gifts and trust your own intuition and power. You truly understand good vs. bad, the location and function of chakras, animal totems, and the law of attraction.

---When: After the introductory course

Intermediate levels

Green belt: You have mastered all the basic ideas and are putting them into practise on a daily basis. From this point on, you will be required to start teaching others (regardless of whether you pay or the advanced course in money or time investment). You can intuitively find answers for people and help them through issues, work with energy competently, and have an increased awareness of yourself and others. You understand base tones and how they relate, have acquired basic teaching and energy manipulation skills, and have a reasonable grasp on your core and star tones.

---When: Mid-advanced course (approx. 3 months)

Blue belt: You have learned to respond to what people need rather than what they ask for and will SCAN out appropriate actions. When teaching, you know to always also keep learning. You are aware of several of your intuitive gifts and are exploring how to use them. You take responsibility for your own life and the situations you attract, know some of your CES and are beginning to sidestep them. You have an increased awareness, can go into alpha easily and deeply, and can step into power when called for.

---When: After advanced course (approx. 4 months)

Advanced levels

Brown belt: You are beginning to truly step into power and act from there. You have shown discipline, responsibility and dedication to your own spiritual growth, and can independently return to your path when knocked off it. You have the ability to find your own answers and methods consistently, have a good understanding of your purpose, and are using your various gifts to get there. You can teach others competently regardless of preparation or familiarity with the topic, and will readily reach out to help others when it scans. You understand all four of your base tones and CES, and have a reasonable mastery of your gifts.

---When: After 5 months.

Black belt: You have mastered all the basics. You have become a competent all round teacher who can address both young ones and older students at a level they are ready to handle, and know the difference between teaching and giving information. You know your own strengths and found and trust your own power. You've a great intuitive awareness, pay constant attention and can respond quickly and appropriately when needed. When hit with a wave, you do not topple over but know to find your balance and learn. You can recall past lives at will, and are independent of hand holding.

---When: After 6 months.

Master levels

For any of the levels after black belt, you have decided to follow the very difficult path of the master, over that of the student or the teacher. This decision has been made been made mind, heart and guts, and you have demonstrated that you will make this decision over and over again.

Silver belt and gold belt

As a silver belt, you no longer require someone else to be your master, explain things to you, to give you exercises, to tell you what needs done and why and how. You are a master yourself.

You have regressed yourself from the moment of conception, eradicated all the major structures that have held you in bondage all your life and replaced them with a more whole image of your Self. You will work for however long it takes to accomplish your goal, and you have demonstrated this by doing deep inner work for at least 18 consecutive hours. Your motivation for this comes from inside, not outside. You have discovered and fully matured your inner subconscious child as well as your higher self. You have matured your conscious self and left all immaturity and childish ways behind, and you have gotten in touch with and opened your heart energy and are working from there. You speak and act from a place of integrity.

You have consciously made the decision to follow the master's path for at least 6 months prior and communicated this decision to your master, and you have been a black belt for at least 4 months.

Gold belt to be added later.

Guru level

Guru: The highest level of spiritual and intuitive mastery. We are incredibly lucky to have Angel to guide us in this capacity.
